GUILLERMO
Meet the inspiration behind Xenialand. Guillermo inspired the idea of building this community after he invited me to stay with him while I was visiting the Lake Region in Northern Patagonia. Take our word for it - Guillermo is special. He is a remarkable human being and you would be lucky to call him a friend. Guillermo lives with his girlfriend, Paula, and their dog, Toki. Guille enjoys spending his free time working on his property, gardening, and doing anything that involves history or nature.
Guille speaks English, Spanish, and is conversational in French.
Stay with him
Guillermo can organize several full-day or half day experiences & workshops. He also cooks some of the best food that you will find in Chile. If you stay with him, he has a private co-work for those that work remote.
His prices all depend on the length of time, amount of people, and amount of resources. Ask us for more details.
Get the ultimate cultural experience and stay on Guillermo's property. Guille's house, El Refugio Puelche, can accommodate up to 10 people. It has two private bedrooms for up to 5 people each, an independent apartment for 2, and breathtaking views of the lake and the volcanoes. All 3 accommodations have a private bathroom and shower. The Refugio also comes equipped with a coworking space, being the perfect base for digital nomads.
His experiences
Guillermo's partners
With Guillermo's help, we have partnered with his favorite local businesses in Frutillar such as a golf course, a hot pools spa, & his favorite restaurants. Guillermo's partners offer something extra special exclusively to Xenialand travelers.
From every booking with Guille a percentage will go to REWILDING CHILE
Rewilding Chile is the non-profit legacy of Douglas and Kristine Tompkins who came to Chilean Patagonia in the early 1990s to dedicate their lives to conserving the region’s beauty and biodiversity. Three decades on, this vision shaped a movement for Rewilding Chile, a conservation model for restoring places, species, and communities, so that all the members of the web of life may thrive.
